We received news today that one of our marketing pieces from Rise of Legends has been selected for publication in Spectrum 14: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art. The collection will be published by Underwood Books in November. According to Irene Gallo over at The Art Department there were nearly 7,000 entries this year. The Big Huge art team is proud to share in this honor with the incredibly talented group over at Blur who, in addition to the RoL opening cinematic, were responsible for the advertisement print campaign finished renderings. Having Rise of Legends imagery recognized in the same field as work from Brom, Jon Foster, James Jean, and Dave McKean among others is quite cool. Here's the piece that made the final cut...
